The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially announced that the list of shortlisted candidates for 2025 recruitment is now available online.
The management has also confirmed that the Computer-Based Test (CBT) examination for successful applicants will hold soon across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Applicants who took part in the earlier CDCFIB recruitment exercise are advised to visit the official CDCFIB portal below to check if they have been shortlisted and to know their CBT exam date, venue and time.
How to Check CDCFIB Shortlisted Candidates 2025
Follow the simple steps below to check if your name appears on the CDCFIB shortlisted list:
1. Visit the official CDCFIB portal: https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng
2. Click on “Check Shortlist” or “View CBT Invitation”
3. Enter your Application ID, Email Address, or Phone Number used during registration
4. Click Submit
5. Your shortlisting status, exam centre, and CBT date/time will appear on your screen

Important Note: Only applicants who meet the required qualifications and passed the initial screening will see their names on the shortlisted list.
CDCFIB CBT Exam Date and Requirements 2025
The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for all shortlisted candidates will hold soon. The specific dates and venues will be displayed on the portal and communicated via SMS and email.
All shortlisted candidates are to come to their designated CBT centres with the following items:
- Printout of the CDCFIB Invitation Slip
- Valid means of identification (e.g., National ID, Voter’s Card, or Driver’s License)
- Writing materials (e.g., pen and pencil)
- Face mask and hand sanitizer for health and safety compliance
- Candidates are advised to arrive at their test centres at least one hour before the exam time.
