Available Positions in the Federal Civil Service Recruitment 2025

Administrative Positions:

1. Senior Administrative Officer – SGL 10
   • A Ph.D. in Social Sciences or Humanities or an MSc with at least 4 years of relevant experience after NYSC.
2. Administrative Officer I – SGL 09
   • A Master’s degree in Social Sciences or Humanities, with completed NYSC service.

Planning and Statistical Roles:

1. Senior Planning Officer – SGL 10
   • Ph.D. in Economics, Econometrics, or related fields, or MSc with a minimum of 4 years of post-NYSC experience.
2. Planning Officer I (SGL 09)
   • MSc in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, or Development Planning; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
3. Planning Officer II (SGL 08)
   • Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Statistics with NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
4. Senior Statistician (SGL 10)
   • Ph.D. in Statistics, Demography, or Mathematics with Statistics, or MSc with four years of relevant post-NYSC experience.
5. Statistician I – SGL 09
   • A Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or Demography, with NYSC completion.
6. Statistician II (SGL 08)
   • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or Mathematics with Statistics; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
7. Higher Statistical Officer (SGL 08)
   • HND in Statistics with NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Technology and Engineering Positions:

1. Programme Analyst I (SGL 09)
   • MSc in Computer Science or Information Technology; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
2. Programme Analyst II (SGL 08)
   • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
3. Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Engineer (GL 09)
   • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
4. Higher Technical Officer (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) (GL 08)
   • HND in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Health and Medical Positions:

1. Medical Officer (SGL 12)
   • MBBS or MBBCh degree; registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN); NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
2. Dentist/Dental Officer (SGL 12)
   • Degree in Dental Surgery; registration with MDCN; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
3. Pharmacist (SGL 10)
   • Qualification: Degree in Pharmacy; registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN); NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
4. Nursing Officer (SGL 10)
   • B.Sc. or BNSc in Nursing; registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN); NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
5. Physiotherapist (SGL 10)
   • Degree in Physiotherapy; registration with the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Registration Board of Nigeria; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
6. Radiographer (SGL 10)
   • Degree in Radiography; registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN); NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Education Roles:

1. Education Officer I (SGL 09)
   • Master’s degree in Education or MSc in a relevant subject plus PGDE/NCE; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
2. Education Officer II (SGL 08)
   • Bachelor’s degree in Education or B.Sc./B.Tech with PGDE/NCE; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
3. Assistant Education Officer (SGL 07)
   • NCE from a recognized institution.

Legal Positions:

1. State Counsel (SGL 09)
   • LL.B degree; legal qualification to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor in Nigeria; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
2. Senior State Counsel (SGL 10)
   • LL.M degree or at least four years of post-call experience; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
3. Principal State Counsel (SGL 12)
   • LL.M degree with at least seven years of post-call experience; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.

Other Specialized Roles:

1. Veterinary Officer (SGL 12)
   • DVM degree; registration with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN); NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
2. Surveyor I (SGL 09)
   • Master’s degree in Land Surveying and Geoinformatics; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
3. Surveyor II (SGL 08)
   • Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying and Geoinformatics; NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
