Candidates who were successfully shortlisted for the recruitment exercise can find now all the details about the screening process, including the date, venues and requirements below.
Nigerian Army 89RRI Screening Date 2025
Candidates who successfully applied for Nigerian Army 89RRI and have been shortlisted are required to report for the screening exercise between 5th and 19th December 2024. The screening will take place in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. Below is a list of the states where the screening will be held:

Nigerian Army 89RRI Screening Requirements
Shortlisted candidates are expected to bring the following documents and items to the screening venue:
- Original copies of academic certificates (WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) in a file jacket.
- Bank Verification Number (BVN) certificate printed and certified by a bank.
- Valid birth certificate or an age declaration endorsed by the National Population Commission, hospital, or Local Government.
- State of origin certificate issued by the appropriate local government authority.
- WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB online scratch card.
- Printed copies from the application portal, including the guarantor form.
- 2 pairs of plain white T-shirts and blue shorts.
- White canvasses and white socks.
- Trade Test or City Guild certificate (if applicable).
Important Instructions for Candidates
- Any tampering with your documents will result in disqualification.
- Electronic and recording devices are not permitted during the screening process.
- High standards of discipline are expected from all candidates. Any misconduct will lead to disqualification.
- Candidates found guilty of submitting forged or falsified documents will be withdrawn from the Nigerian Army training, even after selection.
- The Nigerian Army will not be responsible for any injuries or fatalities occurring during the screening exercise.
