NMS 2025 Entrance Exam Result Released – Check Your Status Now.
The Nigerian Military School (NMS), Zaria has officially released the results of the 2025 entrance examination for admission into JSS1. If you participated in the exam held nationwide on Saturday, 31st May 2025, you can now access your result online.
In this guide, we will show you how to check your status via the NMS portal login, download the list of shortlisted candidates and get ready for the Selection Board Interview scheduled for August 2025.
How to Check NMS Entrance Exam Result 2025
To check your NMS entrance exam result for 2025, follow these simple steps:
1. Visit the official NMS result portal: https://www.nms1954.sch.ng/selection-board-interview/2025/
2. Click on the link to download the PDF list of successful candidates:

3. Open the file and check for your Name, Exam Number and State.
If your name appears on the list, congratulations! You have been selected to proceed to the next stage, the Selection Board Interview.
NMS Interview Date for 2025/2026 Admission
The next stage after the exam result is the physical screening and interview, officially called the NMS Selection Board Interview. It will take place as follows:
Venue: Nigerian Military School, Zaria
Dates:
- Batch 1: Report on 15 August 2025
- Batch 2: Report on 23 August 2025
Duration: 15th – 30th August 2025
Important: Any candidate in Batch 2 seen at the school premises before 23rd August 2025 will be disqualified. Also, candidates who fail to report on their batch’s reporting day will not be allowed to participate in the interview.

All shortlisted candidates MUST report with the following documents and personal items:
Required Documents:
1. Original Birth Certificate (not declaration of age)
2. Primary School Leaving Certificate
3. Original Exam Photocard
4. Original Local Government or State of Origin Certificate
5. Four (4) recent passport photographs
6. Testimonial from Primary School
7. Letter of Introduction from Parent’s Command/Unit (for military wards)
8. Chest X-ray and film from a government or military hospital
9. Medical Fitness Certificate
10. Part 2 Orders (for wards of military personnel)
Personal Items:
- 2 white vests
- 2 blue short knickers
- 2 pairs of white socks
- 1 pair of white canvas
- 1 treated mosquito net
- 1 white bed sheet (2½ yards)
- 1 blanket
- Toiletries
- 1 bathroom slippers
- 1 plastic bucket
- 1 set of cutlery
- Writing materials (pen, pencil, eraser, ruler)
- N24,000 administrative fee (cash) for feeding and interview logistics
- All candidates will be accommodated within the school premises throughout the interview period.
Important Warnings
- Do not appear at the interview venue before your scheduled batch date.
- There will be no second chance for those who miss their reporting date.
- Come with all required documents and items to avoid disqualification.
- Any false information or impersonation will lead to immediate disqualification.
What Happens After the NMS Interview?
Candidates who successfully complete the Selection Board Interview will be considered for final admission into JSS1 at the Nigerian Military School for the 2025/2026 academic session. Admission is strictly based on:
- Performance in the entrance exam
- Physical fitness
- Academic and health evaluations during the interview
- Availability of space
