The Oyo State Primary Health Care Board (OYSPHCB) is set to commence its 2025/2026 recruitment exercise. The official application portal will soon open for qualified individuals interested in joining the state health sector across various professional roles.
Available Positions and Requirements
1. Nursing Officer
- B.Sc. in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid license with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
2. Staff Nurse (Health)
- Possession of NRN or NRM qualification.
- Health Visitors Certificate required.
3. Staff Nurse/Midwife II
- Must be a certified Student Nurse or Midwife.
- Registered with the NMCN.
4. Community Health Officer (CHO)
- Minimum of five credits including English and Mathematics in WAEC/NECO/GCE.
- Degree or Diploma in Community Health.
- Registered with CHPRBN.
5. Junior Community Health Extension Worker (JCHEW)
- At least five credits in relevant science subjects including English and Maths.
- National Certificate for Health Assistant Cadre.
6. Medical Record Technician
- Five O’level credits including English and Mathematics.
- Certified by either the Chartered Institute of Secretaries, the Medical Laboratory Technology Technician Cadres or the Association of Medical Record Technicians.
7. Pharmacy Technician (In-Training)
- Minimum of five O’level credits including Maths and English.
- Possess a Pharmacy Technician Certificate (CPhT).
- Must have a valid practice license.
8. Medical Officer
- Minimum of five science subject credits in WAEC/NECO/GCE including English and Maths.
- MBBS degree and NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
9. Community Health Influencer & Promoter
- Five credits in SSCE/NECO/GCE; science subjects preferred.
10. Dental Technician
- HND in Dental Therapy or Diploma in Dental Surgery Tech.
- Must be registered with the Dental Therapy Board and have a valid license.

Important Notes:

- Only candidates who did not score 50% or more in the previous OYSPHCB CBT exam are eligible to apply.

What Happens After Submission?
