The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has re-opened the application portal for second phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Program 2025. This federal government initiative is designed to empower Nigerian youths with employability skills, startup support and job placements.
If you missed the first phase, now is your chance! The NDE registration portal will open on Monday, 28th July 2025 and close on Tuesday, 2nd September 2025.
Who Can Apply for NDE Renewed Hope 2025?
To qualify for the NDE 2nd phase program, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A valid National Identification Number (NIN)
- A functional email address for communication
- A clear passport photograph (recent)
- Must be a Nigerian youth (unemployed or underemployed)
- Willingness to undergo training and deployment

The program is open to applicants with any of the following educational or trade qualifications:
- FSLC (First School Leaving Certificate)
- SSCE (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB)
- Trade Test/Certificate
- Diploma
- NCE
- HND
- Bachelor’s Degree
Skills Training Available Under Renewed Hope 2025
Participants will be trained in various entrepreneurial, technical and vocational skills, including:
- Handcrafts & Beauty: Soap Making, Perfume Production, Bead Making, Make-Up, Fashion Designing, Hairdressing, Tailoring, Shoe & Leather Works, Beauty Therapy.
- Technical & ICT: Electrical Installation, GSM Repairs, Computer Operation & Repairs, Welding, Plumbing, Carpentry, Solar Installation & Maintenance, Cloud Computing & Basic AI.
- Agriculture & Food Production: Poultry, Fishery, Rabbitry, Snail Farming, Piggery, Vegetable Farming, Bee Keeping, Food Processing & Packaging, Greenhouse Farming.
- Craft & Creativity: Basket Weaving, Pottery, Blacksmithing, Tie & Dye, Raffia Mat Making, Canoe Carving, Sculpture, Drum Making, Cloth Weaving, Knitting.
- Construction & Fabrication: Masonry, POP, Block & Kerbs Moulding, Aluminum & Metal Fabrication, Hard & Soft Landscaping.
- Others: Confectionery, Catering, Business Management, Graduate Coaching Scheme and more.

How to Apply for NDE Renewed Hope Program 2025
Follow these simple steps to complete your application:
1. Visit https://www.nderegistrationportal.ng
2. Create an account using your NIN and email
3. Upload your passport photograph
4. Complete the registration form with your personal details
5. Submit and wait for a confirmation email or SMS
Once your application is successful, you will get a confirmation notification sent to your registered phone number and email.
What Happens After Registration?
Shortlisted applicants will be contacted by NDE and assigned to a training center in their respective states.
After training, the federal government will empower successful participants with:
- Startup capital
- Working tools & equipment
- Grants or business support
This is part of the government’s plan to reduce youth unemployment through skills development and entrepreneurship.
