To qualify for the UBTH Post Registered Nursing programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be 18 years or above.
- Possess five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry, (obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or GCE).
- Hold a valid Registered Midwifery (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) certificate.
- Have a minimum of one (1) year post-registration experience.
- Provide a reference letter from a current or recent employer.
- Upload a current practising licence that is valid and up to date.

2. Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦15,000 via the Remita platform to the UBTH TSA account.
