Are you an experienced artisan looking for employment in a federal agency? The Department of State Services (DSS) also referred to as the State Security Service (SSS) has officially opened the application for its 2025 Artisans Recruitment exercise. Qualified Nigerian males are encouraged to apply for various skilled positions.

DSS is currently accepting applications for the following artisan roles:
- Electrical Technicians
- Plumbing Experts
- Vehicle Mechanics
- Professional Carpenters
Requirements for DSS Artisan jobs 2025
To be eligible for the recruitment exercise, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a male Nigerian citizen.
- Age Requirement: Between 25 and 35 years old.
- Education: A minimum of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) is required.
- Professional Certificate: Trade Test Certificates Grade 1 & 2 from the Federal Ministry of Labour are compulsory.
- Physical Requirement: Minimum height of 1.60 meters.
- Indigene Certificate: A valid Certificate of Origin from your local government.

Interested and qualified applicants are required to write and submit a formal application letter to the DSS State Command Office in their state of origin. Attach copies of all necessary credentials, including trade and educational certificates.
