Are you among those who applied for the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YEIDEP) and got a text message from your selected bank but can’t proceed because you don’t have a YEIDEP code? This problem is especially common among 3rd batch applicants and we are here to help you resolve it.
Why You Didn’t Get a YEIDEP Code
During the early stages of the YEIDEP registration process, only 1st and 2nd batch applicants received a unique YEIDEP code upon submission. Unfortunately, many 3rd batch applicants were not issued this code, leading to confusion and delays.
What You Can Do If You Didn’t Receive Your YEIDEP Code
Follow these tips to resolve the issue and complete your account setup:
1. Use Your Registered Phone Number Instead
Instead of the YEIDEP code, input the phone number you used during registration. Several users have successfully used this method to complete their bank account forms.
2. Visit the Bank That Contacted You
Go to the bank that sent you the account opening message. Explain your issue, and they should be able to proceed with opening your account even without the YEIDEP code.
3. Contact YEIDEP Support
