If you registered for the 2025 JAMB UTME or Direct Entry and your WAEC or NECO result wasn’t available during registration, don’t panic. JAMB has provided a simple method to upload your O’level result online either WAEC, NECO or NABTEB.
Uploading your result is very important if you want to gain admission. Schools will not consider your name without it.
In this guide, you will learn:
- Where and how to upload your result
- Who needs to upload
- The requirements
- The deadline (if any)
Who Needs to Upload Their O’Level Result?
You must upload your result if:
- You selected “Awaiting Result” (AR) during registration
- You now have your complete WAEC, NECO or NABTEB result
- You changed your institution and your new school requires it again
Both UTME and Direct Entry (DE) candidates are expected to upload their O’level results to avoid admission issues.
Steps to Upload WAEC or NECO Result on JAMB Portal 2025
Follow the steps below:
1. Visit a JAMB CBT Centre Only
- Cyber cafés are not allowed to handle this.
- Locate an accredited JAMB CBT centre near you.
2. Take Along These Documents
- A copy of your WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result (original or printed online)
- Your JAMB registration number
- Your profile code (optional)
3. Request for Result Upload
- Ask the staff to help you upload your O’level result.
- They will scan and upload it to the JAMB CAPS portal.
4. Confirm Upload on JAMB CAPS
- After upload, login to JAMB CAPS
- Navigate to “My O’level Result” to confirm if your result shows “Uploaded”.
When is the Deadline for Uploading?
While JAMB hasn’t fixed a strict deadline, it’s important to upload before your school begins admission. Most institutions start screening in July–October.
To avoid missing admission, upload your result as soon as it’s ready.
How to Confirm if Your Result is Uploaded
1. Go to efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Login with your email and password
3. Click on Check Admission Status > Access My CAPS > My O’level
4. If it shows your grades, then it’s uploaded successfully
