How to Check Nigerian Army DSSC 28/2024 Shortlisted Candidates

All the candidates who participated in the recruitment exercise are required to login to the Nigerian Army DSSC 28/2024 recruitment portal and download the list of successful candidates in PDF file. Only those whose names appear there will proceed to the next phase.

If you have checked the Nigerian Army DSSC List 2024 and did see your name on the lists, congratulations. The successful candidates for Direct Short Service Commission Course 28/2024 Selection Board are to report at Headquarters 2 Division Nigerian Army, Ibadan, Oyo State on 11 March 2024.

Candidates are to report to the Selection Board venue on 11th March 2024 between 8am–11 am with the following items:

a. Writing materials including ruler and eraser.

b. Three (3) pairs of plain white short sleeve vests.

c. Three (3) pairs of navy blue shorts.

d. Canvas shoes/trainers and whitesocks.

e. Toiletries.

f. A set of cutlery including plates and drinking cups.

g. Beddings;to include, blankets, bedspreads and pillow cases etc.

h. Four (4) copies offull size coloured photographs at standing positionin suit.

The Selection Exercise will involve physical, medical and academic tests as well as an oral interview for all candidates.

Candidates will be required to produce original and duplicate copies ofthe following:

a. All academic/professional certificates including testimonials, NYSC discharge or valid Exemption Certificate as
applicable in a file jacket.

b. Certificate of ordination for candidates seeking Chaplain (Protestant/Roman Catholic).

c. Certificate of Call to Bar for candidates seeking Directorate of Legal Services.

d. Valid birth certificate as endorsed by the National Population Commission, hospital and Local Government Council of birth or valid age declaration.

e. Valid certificate of state of origin.

f. Military Identity Card (military personnel only).

g. Letter of recommendation by Commanding Officers/Commanders (military personnel only).

h. Letter of sponsorshipin tertiary academic institution(military personnel only).

i. Printed Bank Verification Number (BVN) certificate authenticated by a bank as well NIN enrolment slip.

j. Completed copies of print outs from the DSSC portal including referee forms.

Candidates are to note that any alteration on their documents will render such documents invalid.

Candidates will be fed and accommodated throughout the duration of the SelectionBoard.

Candidates will be responsible for their transportation to and from the SelectionBoard.

The use of personal/private vehicles by candidates is strictly prohibited throughout the duration of the Selection
Board.

Visitors will not be allowed throughout the duration of the SelectionBoard.

Candidates who arrive after 11 am on 11th March 2024 will be disqualified.

A high standard of discipline is expected from all candidates. Candidates who violate any instruction during the Selection Board will be disqualified.

NOTE:

Due to the military nature of the Exercise, theNigerian Army shall not be liable fora ny injuries/deaths recorded in the course of the SelectionBoard.

Nigerian Army DSSC 28/2024 Final List for Training

The Nigerian Army wishes to inform the general public that the list of successful candidates for DSSC Course 28/2024 is out and can be accessed on recruitment.army.mil.ng/military-secretary. Officer Cadet training will commence on 10 May 2024 at the NDA, Afaka, Kaduna.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Candidate are to report to NDA, Afaka, Kaduna with the following:

a. Original credentials including online printout showing
his/her passport photograph(s).

b. Four copies of 5 x 7 coloured photographs in suit and in full
standing position without cap/hat.

c. Two pairs each of unmarked white round neck vests and
navy blue shorts (without stripes).

d. Two pairs of pure white canvas/trainers (rubber type NOT
acceptable).

e. Two pairs each of unmarked maroon round neck vests and
navy blue track suits (without stripes).

f. Two white shirts, one blue shirt, a black tie and a black belt.

g. Four pairs of white socks and 2 pairs of black socks.

h. Two pairs of national dress or suit and casual wears.

i. One wrist watch.

j. A pair of black laced shoes.

k. Swimming trunk.

l. Two white bed sheets and pillow cases.

m. One blanket (grey or army green colour).

n. Two sets of cutlery.

o. Pressing iron.

2. Female candidates should come along with the following items in addition:
a. One pair of black low heel cover shoe.
b. Two black lounge suits.
c. A pair of trouser suit.
d. Two black shorts (tights).
3. Serving military personnel are to come along with release letters and passes from their commanders/commanding officers from their commanders/commanding officers.

4. Successful candidates who fail to report on the aforementioned date will forfeit their vacancies to candidates on reserve.

5. Reserve candidates are not to report to NDA but will be contacted in the
event vacancies arise.

6. There will be no vacancy for Reserve candidates after 31 May 2024.
