The Ogun State Government has commenced its 2024 EduCash Grant to all the indigent students in the state. In response to the prevailing economic challenges in Nigeria, the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has initiated measures to alleviate the financial burden on students residing both within and outside the state. One such measure is the Ogun State EduCash Grant, aimed at providing financial support to students pursuing higher education in recognized Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.
The Ogun State EduCash Grant serves as a vital support system for students facing financial constraints amidst the current economic crisis. Through this initiative, the government aims to alleviate the financial burden on students, ensuring they can continue their educational pursuits without undue hardship.
Ogun State EduCash Grant Requirements
To be eligible for the Ogun State EduCash Grant, applicants must meet the following criteria below.
- Applicants: All Ogun State indigenes enrolled in recognized Nigerian universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education are eligible to apply for the grant.

Ogun State EduCash Grant Amount
Beneficiaries of the Ogun State EduCash Grant will receive a cash award of N50,000 to assist with their educational expenses.

The Ogun State EduCash Grant application deadline is 1st March, 2024. Late application will NOT be accepted.
