YES! The West African Examination Council has announced 45 days’ as the latest date for the release of 2023 WAEC results after the last exam has been written by candidates.

This means that the WASSCE result will be released at 12pm online in the next 24 – 48 hours from the date of release of results.

NOTE: Not all WAEC results will be released, some will be be held while some will be released.

How to Check WAEC Result 2023

The steps below will guide you on how to check my WAEC result 2023 through WAEC portal. Ensure that you enter all your details correctly to avoid error.

1. Log on to West African Examination Council (WAEC) checker website https://www.waecdirect.org/
2. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number. (This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
3. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2023
4. Select the Type of Examination
5. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
6. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
7. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up
