Both Teaching and Non Teaching Staff will be recruited to fill vacant job positions in the 2024 College of Education Afaha Nsit Recruitment.
After the online application, the Akwa Ibom State College of Education Afaha Nsit will have to choose the number of candidates to be selected based on their needs.

Requirements
(a) Principal Lecturers: A doctorate degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution with, at least, six (6) years experience of teaching and/or applied research as a Senior Lecturer or its equivalent in a tertiary institution. In addition, applicants must possess a minimum of nine (9) published journal articles in reputable journals plus evidence of regular attendance/participation in conferences, workshops or seminars.
(b) Senior Lecturers: A doctorate degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution with, at least, four (4) years experience of teaching and/or applied research as a Lecturer I or its equivalent in a tertiary institution.
In addition, applicants must possess a minimum of nine (6) published journal articles in reputable journals plus evidence of regular attendance/participation in conferences, workshops or seminars.
(c) Lecturer I: A Masters degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution with, at least, three (3) years experience of teaching and/or applied research as a Lecturer II or its equivalent in a tertiary institution.
In addition, applicants must possess a minimum of three (3) published journal articles in reputable journals plus evidence of regular attendance/participation in conferences, workshops or seminars.
(d) Lecturer II: a Masters degree in relevant field from a recognized institution with, at least, three (3) years experience of teaching and/or applied research as a Lecturer III or its equivalent in a tertiary institution.
In addition, applicants must possess a minimum of two (2) published journal articles in reputable journals plus evidence of regular attendance/participation in conferences, workshops or seminars.
(e) Lecturer III: A Masters degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution with teaching qualification.
(f) Assistant Lecturer: A good first degree (preferably second class, upper division) from a recognized institution.
AKSCOE Afaha Nsit Positions & Requirements for Non Teaching Staff
Applicants who wish to apply for Non Teaching Staff position must meet the following requirements
(a) Administrative Officer: A good first degree (not below second class, Lower Division)
(b) Engineer: A good first degree in Engineering not below second class, Lower Division, preferably:
(i) Civil Engineering with COREN
(ii) Agric Engineering in Farm Power, Machinery and Processing
(iii) Food Engineering with Masters in Processing and Storage
C. Pharmacist: A good first degree in Pharmacy registrable with Pharmacy Registration Board of Nigeria (PRBN).
(D) Accountant: A good first degree in accounting (not below second class, Lower Division)
(E) Higher Executive Officer, Account/General duties: Higher National Diploma (HND) as applicable.
(F) Assistant Executive Officer, Acconts/General duties: National Diploma (ND) as applicable.
(G) Data Processing Officer: Higher National Diploma/National Diploma (HND/ND) in computer.
(H) Clerical Officer: Five O’Level Credits including English Language at not more than two (2) sittings
(I) Nursing Officer: possession of NRN or NRM and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
(J) Library Officer: Possession of National Diploma (ND) in Library Science.

Conditions of Service are as applicable in the College Conditions and Schemes of Service and the Akwa Ibom State Public Service.
