Is the NPC Adhoc Staff Recruitment Training Date for 2024 Announced?
Yes! The National Population Commission (NPC) has officially released the training schedule for Supervisors and Enumerators. Invitations are already being sent out to selected candidates. The LGA Level Training is set to begin on Thursday, April 13, 2023.
This training will be conducted across 774 local government areas (LGAs) in Nigeria and shortlisted candidates will receive details regarding the venue in their respective locations.

NPC Training Timetable for Enumerators and Supervisors
The NPC has provided a structured training schedule as follows:
- Specialized Workforce and DQMs Training – March 31 to April 8, 2023
- Assessment of Training Centres – April 3 to April 1, 2023
- LGA Level Training (Building Numbering & Household Listing) – April 13 to April 19, 2023
- Monitoring & Evaluation of LGA Training – April 13 to April 19, 2023
- Profiling of Enumerators and Supervisors for Census – April 13 to April 18, 2023
- Building Numbering & Household Listing – April 20 to April 24, 2023
- Data Validation Period – April 20 to April 26, 2023
- Post-Field Validation Check – April 27 to April 28, 2023
- LGA Level Training (Person Enumeration) – April 26 to April 30, 2023
- Census Night – May 2, 2023
- Person Enumeration – May 3 to May 7, 2023
- Enumeration Mop-up (If Necessary) – May 8 to May 12, 2023
NPC Census Training Allowances for Supervisors & Enumerators
Shortlisted candidates will receive training allowances as follows:
Supervisor Training Allowance
- Feeding – ₦2,000 × 5 days = ₦10,000
- Transport – ₦20,000
- Training Allowance – ₦13,000 × 5 days = ₦65,000
- Total: ₦95,000
Enumerator Training Allowance
- Feeding – ₦2,000 × 5 days = ₦10,000
- Transport – ₦20,000
- Training Allowance – ₦10,000 × 5 days = ₦50,000
- Total: ₦80,000
How to Check NPC Adhoc Staff Shortlisted Candidates for Training
To find out if you have been selected for NPC training, follow these steps:
Method 1: Check Your Email
- Log into your email account.
- Look for a message from the National Population Commission (NPC).
- If selected, you will receive a notification with training details.
Method 2: Check NPC Portal
- Visit the NPC Adhoc Staff Recruitment Portal: https://2023censusadhocrecruitment.nationalpopulation.gov.ng/
- Click on “Check Application Status.”
- Enter your Application Code or NIN.
- If your status is “PENDING”, your application is still under review.
