All the Nigeria Navy shortlisted candidates for batch 36 will be invited for screening and interview to select the final list of candidates for all the positions advertised.

You can now proceed to the next stage of recruitment. This is the screening stage. It’s after the physical interview and document screening that the Nigeria Navy final list for training batch 36 will be released.
Now those successful at the training exercise will receive their appointment paper as a full-time staff of Nigeria Navy Force.
Nigeria Navy Examination Date for Batch 36
All Nigeria Navy batch 36 shortlisted candidates are to report to their chosen examination centres for their examination exercise on Saturday, 17 February 2024.
NOTE: Applicants will not be allowed to write the recruitment Examination in any centre other than their chosen centre.
Applicants are to come along with the following:
- Print out of the Application Form showing particulars of candidate.
- One Coloured Passport Photograph
- Writing materials (2B Pencil and Eraser)
Nigerian Navy Batch 36 Interview date 2024
From the information we have gathered so far, The shortlisted candidates are hereby invited to attend an interview to hold concurrently in 2 batches from 30 March to 8 April and 10 – 20 April 2024 for batches A and B respectively.
Shortlisted candidates from North East and North West are to report for interview at the Nigerian Defence Academy Old Site while candidates from North Central and South West are to sit for their interview at the Nigerian Navy Secondary School Ojo, Lagos. Similarly, candidates from South East as well as South South are to report to Nigerian Navy Secondary School Borokiri Port Harcourt for their interview. A detailed breakdown is shown via the link below:
1) The interview would be conducted concurrently at the centres from 30 March – 20 April 2024. The interview will include screening/verification of credentials/certificates, medical/physical evaluation and written test. Shortlisted candidates are to come along with the following items:
a. Printout of their duly signed application forms.
b. Originals and photocopies of their credentials.
c. Originals and photocopies of valid Drivers’ Licence (Category H only).
d. Original and photocopy of State of Origin/LGA certificate.
e. National Identity Card/Acknowledgment Slip.
f. Writing materials.
g. Two pairs of navy blue shorts and 2 white (unmarked) T Shirts.
h. A pair of canvas/trainer and stockings.
i. Bed sheets and pillow cases.
j. Set of cutlery.
k. Four (4) recent 30X30mm passport sized photographs on white background.
l. Personal Toiletries (bathing and washing soaps, tooth paste and brush e.t.c).
2. Candidates will be interviewed individually and if found deficient of any required criterion (criteria), his/her candidature shall be terminated at any stage of the interview.
3. If any information/declaration given by the candidates at any time during the entire selection process is found to be fake/false/wrong, his/her candidature shall be cancelled and he/she may be handed over to the Nigeria Police Force for possible prosecution.
4. Failure by any candidate to provide accurate information concerning his/her medical history during the entire selection process as stated on the Medical Examination Pro forma will result in automatic withdrawal from training and dismissal even when already in the Service.
5. Any candidate who fails to report for screening at specified centre for their State of Origin on the stipulated date for his/her Batch will forfeit his/her candidature.
6. Candidates are to report with a copy of their BVN.
7. Candidates found with false/forged documents shall be arrested and prosecuted.
8. Impostors shall be arrested and prosecuted.
9. All concerned are to note and comply accordingly.
Nigerian Navy Batch 36 Training date 2024
The list of successful candidates for NNBTS BATCH 36 Recruitment Interview held in Lagos, Port Harcourt and Kaduna from 12 August to 1 September 2023 has been released online at www.joinnigeriannavy.com.
Successful candidates are to report for training at the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School Onne, Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Saturday 14 October 2023.
Candidates are required to come along with the following items:
a. NIN print-out slip.
b. Original and photocopies of credentials.
c. BVN print out.
d. Two (2) Navy blue PT shorts.
e. Two (2) white round neck vests.
f. Two pairs of white canvas.
g. Two pairs of brown canvas.
h. Two (2) white long sleeve shirts.
i. Two pairs of black trousers.
j. Two (2) black ties.
k. One pair of black shoe.
l. Three (3) pairs of white long socks.
m. Two pairs of national dress (Native wear).
n. Two set of cutleries.
o. Two Navy blue bed sheets and blanket.
p. Two white bed sheets.
q. Mosquito net.
r. Toiletries.
s. WAEC or NECO Scratch card as applicable
NOTE:
Candidates are also required to download the Parent/Guardian Consent Form from the link below. The form is to be signed by their Parents/Guardians, stamped and endorsed by a competent court of law, and the form brought on resumption of training.
Any candidate who fails to report by Wednesday 18 October 2023 (5 days after resumption) will forfeit his/her NNBTS Batch 35 candidacy and not be accepted for training.
